Did the title of my blog post make you start singing Pharrell Williams - Happy - song? It's a cold wet day here in Sydney so I'm definitely trying to get into my happy place and that song is always a great place to start. What does that have to do with my blog post today? Nothing really except I've used the word happy and this card makes me happy.
As I've made the background black and white I kept the rest of the colour palate very simple and just allowed the balloon and it's simple message to speak for itself. I did raise it up with some dimensionals to give it a little height. I love this card because you could give it to a man or a woman. I really struggle to make cards that are suitable for anyone of any age so this one is a winner for me. Oh and it was quick and easy to make - double win. I think I might have to try a few variations and see if I still like it. Have you got any colour suggestions you'd like to see me try? Let me know in the comments below.

Super simple to make but so striking. It almost looks like the background paper is a designer series paper - but it's not. It's stamped using the Dots and Stripes mask and a sponge dauber. Which means you could do it in any colour ink you like. Win!!!
