Another retiring stamp set - Pocketful of Happiness is the feature of today's post. Even more exciting it's on sale online if you want to get your hands on it (but only until they run out).
I heat embossed the image and sentiment using copper embossing powder and then use and aqua painter and inks to water colour the image.
I also used my bigshot and the Coastal Weave embossing folder on some Soft Suede card stock to give the background layer some extra texture and depth. I pulled out the lower thread of the Sahara Sand Woven Threads trip to give it a tassel effect and used some dimensionals to raise the sentiment and added some copper brads.
I absolutely love this colour combination and am really happy that we have one more year of Pretty Peacock as it's a firm favourite right now.
Not sure about you but my weekends are starting to open up a little bit more as distancing restrictions ease. It's really nice to be able to start doing some of my normal activities - running club, cocktails - but I really want to make sure I keep some of my craft time from this COVID-19 crisis. I've really noticed the benefit to my overall creativity in other areas of my life. And it's been really fun to share cards with more people and spread the joy. I recognise how fortunate I am to have been able to do this, and I am grateful that I've been able to share it with more people. I hope you've found some bright sparks in the midst of the challenges and an opportunity to spread and share joy and hope.
Happy crafting.
Sally
PS - Sahara Sand Woven thread is also retiring and on sale right now too. Get your hands on it while it lasts.
