Timeless Tropical Thank you

I don't know about you, but with things slowly opening up it feels like we went from 0 to 100 really quickly. It's been wonderful to start being able to catch up with family and friends (physically distancing of course) but it's also meant my time to craft has diminished. I did mention to get a sneaky little session in recently and here's one of the cards I made.

I used the Timeless Tropical bundle but wanted to keep it very simple so I just stamped the leaf image in Stazon Saddle Brown on watercolour paper. I then used ink and a water pen to colour the leaves. 

Before I stamped anything I used a masking technique to ensure I'd have a negative space left for the sentiment. This is such a simple technique but very effective. You can find out how to do it along with more examples here and here. 

I've realised that as things open up it's going to be a choice to spend time intentionally on things that bring you joy, so right after this I'm going to calendar some craft time :-)
